Súðavík is situated on the west side of Álftafjörður. The parish of Súðavíkurhreppur is one of the largest parishes of the country. There is a very varied landscape and the opportunities for nature exploration are perfect. The coastline is very jagged and the Djúp bay has many beautiful fjords that can be explored. The population of Súðavík is around 200, but the whole of Súðavíkurhreppur parish has around 250 people.
